Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bloke Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rum punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill comes into the arena with Rip this joint blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bloke Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, rum punch!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for punch on the ground.

Hill is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, punch has escaped the position, nice work there.
punch is trying to control Hill's posture but Hill avoids it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
punch tries to improve position but can't.

Hill tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hill has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
punch manages to get back to half guard.
Hill could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
punch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hill is working away from the top position though.
Hill missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
punch makes his way to full guard. A much better position for punch.
punch keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

punch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hill wants to control from the top but punch keeps moving.
Hill won't allow punch to sweep him here.
punch keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully.
Hill wants to get up but he can't break punch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

punch has his foot on Hill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hill works his way back into a safe position though.
punch is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hill wants to stand but punch has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

punch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now punch is on top in guard.

punch slips a nice elbow through Hill's hands, connecting with Hill's forehead.
punch is looking to take a break and control but Hill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hill is looking to control punch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hill avoid being mounted?
punch working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
punch seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hill does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hill circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hill makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. punch really felt that one!

Hill has closed the distance and engaged punch in a clinch.

Hill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hill tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hill gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from punch.

Hill trying to control the position from guard on top but punch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

punch had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hill is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. punch Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hill's back instead.

Hill manages to reverse the position and now he's in punch's guard. Nice work there by Hill.
punch lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hill!
punch fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
punch lands a heavy elbow.
punch scores with a couple of good head shots there.
punch has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hill's face.
punch looking to control but Hill is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Hill takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Hill can't escape the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Hill shoots in and bounces punch off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
punch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hill's guard.

Hill avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hill tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as punch is looking to escape.

punch bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

I've got punch winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
