Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Curtis Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Williams!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Williams misses with a takedown
and Williams takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Williams dives in and grabs Davis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
Williams on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nice defenses there by Williams.
Davis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Williams on the side of the head.
Sloppy strikes from Davis. Those never looked like landing.
Davis sets himself, and Williams steps forward looking for the clinch! Davis avoids it this time.
Davis throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davis is looking to chop away at Williams's legs.

Williams darts in looking for a takedown but Davis gets double underhooks and turns Williams into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Williams tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Williams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Davis pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Williams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Davis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it.
Davis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Davis takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Davis.
Williams takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Davis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Davis is looking to counter punch.
Williams checks a low kick from Davis.
Davis lands a nice leg kick that just misses Williams's sensitive parts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Curtis Davis dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Williams tries to keep at a distance but Davis has taken the fight into the clinch.

Davis tries a body shot but Williams blocks it.

Williams wants the takedown. Davis is fighting it off but Williams persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Davis's guard against the cage.
Davis doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.

Davis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Williams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Williams postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it.

Williams is in close to Davis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Williams scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Williams cracks Davis with a solid left hand.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Davis controls Williams momentarily but Williams frees himself.
Williams is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control.

Williams postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Davis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Williams, into his guard.

Davis throws a big elbow that misses.

Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Williams is tightening it up a little... Davis has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Davis reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Davis taps out! Nice BJJ there by Williams!
