Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Jangles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JJ Lycka!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lycka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jangles avoids it really well and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lycka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lycka controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lycka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jangles is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lycka, into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jangles trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jangles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lycka on the ground.
Lycka looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lycka keeping moving, preventing Jangles from controlling successfully.

Lycka looking for a triangle here. Jangles is fighting it but it looks tight! Lycka pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jangles is tapping out - this one is all over!

JJ Lycka was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
