The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redinov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
O Neil scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Redinov doesn't seem bothered though.
Redinov wants to clinch
enabling O Neil to counter with a crisp jab.
Redinov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
O Neil connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Redinov momentarily.
O Neil listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Redinov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but O Neil paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Redinov takes one to the chin there.
Redinov slips a jab and a cross from O Neil.
O Neil circles away from the clinch attempt.
Redinov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Redinov is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
O Neil scores with a shot to the body.
Oh Redinov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
O Neil connects with a right that clearly hurt Redinov. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as O Neil proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Redinov collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey O Neil!
