PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Spider Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Quall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quall has chosen Beach Blast as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida closes this distance looking for a takedown but Quall circles away.
Quall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Machida.
Machida is looking to clinch.
Quall lands a body shot.
Machida blocks a head kick by Quall.
Quall's corner calls for a 1-2. Quall obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Spider Machida has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Machida uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Quall.

Well Quall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
