Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Beau Sweet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eder Jofre Bidon!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bidon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bidon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Beau Sweet has been cut.
Bidon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sweet moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A counter left hand to the body from Sweet misses its target.
Bidon lands a left and a right that send Sweet crashing to the mat, dazed. Bidon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sweet is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bidon connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Sweet covering up! Bidon comes in with a big uppercut and Sweet goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Eder Jofre Bidon!
