The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwager swats away the attempt to clinch by Nurmanov.
Nurmanov tries to clinch there but Schwager circles away.
Nurmanov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schwager sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nurmanov somewhat.
Schwager fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nurmanov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Schwager moves into range and connects with a jab.
Schwager has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Schwager looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Schwager scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nurmanov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Schwager lands with a nice body punch.
Schwager fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nurmanov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Schwager fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schwager lands a lovely overhand right.

Nurmanov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schwager circles away quickly and effectively.
Schwager bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nurmanov's head.
Schwager scores with a nice right hand.

Schwager drops Nurmanov with a left right combo! Schwager follows him down to the ground into side control.

Nurmanov is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schwager has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Oh Nurmanov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schwager lands with a right that hurts Nurmanov. Nurmanov looks to clinch but Schwager throws a short knee that drops Nurmanov. This one is all over!
