Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josef Dellal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josef Dellal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sasha Grey!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dellal slaps away a takedown attempt from Grey, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Grey tries to close the distance and clinch but Dellal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dellal feinted with a counter takedown.

Dellal shoots in and bounces Grey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Horrible takedown attempt by Grey or perhaps it was just good defense by Dellal, which made it look bad.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dellal swats away the attempt to clinch by Grey.
Dellal feinted with a counter takedown.
Dellal closes the distance and clinches up with Grey, looking for a takedown. Dellal pushes Grey against the cage but Grey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Josef Dellal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sasha Grey.

Dellal has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Grey is trying to keep an underhook but Dellal manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Dellal is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Grey is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Grey has escaped and now he's on top!

Grey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dellal manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Grey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dellal, pushing him back against the cage.
Dellal is looking for a takedown.
Dellal drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grey pulls his leg out and moves away.
Grey throws a left and a right that both miss

and Dellal decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Grey's guard.
Dellal wants to control from the top but Grey keeps moving.
Josef Dellal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Grey looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Dellal has picked Grey up and slammed him! Grey can't keep hold of the triangle and Dellal manages to pass to side control!

Dellal thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dellal wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Grey, who protects the arm well.
Grey has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Grey is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Grey is not content to let Dellal control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dellal working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Dellal goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Grey has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dellal but great work by Grey.

Dellal gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Grey prevents Dellal from improving his position.

Grey misses with a head shot. Dellal uses the momentum to regain guard.
Grey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dellal's head.

Dellal had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grey defends it easily.
Dellal is pulling down on Grey's head to control his posture.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dellal controls Grey momentarily but Grey frees himself.
Grey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Grey throws an elbow that misses. Dellal uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Grey's guard. Nice move by Dellal!

Grey wants to stand but Dellal is controlling the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dellal passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Dellal has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Grey after a bit of a struggle.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Dellal drops back, looking for a kneebar! Grey looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Grey looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Grey!

Grey throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Grey is trying to get an arm triangle but Dellal is defending well.

Grey creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dellal sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Grey lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Dellal goes for a takedown in the clinch but Grey prevents it.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Still in the clinch, Grey scores with a nice short uppercut.

Grey lands a right hand.
Dellal blocks an uppercut.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Grey breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dellal shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Grey counters with a series of strikes that sends Dellal to the canvas! Grey follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

And that's the end of the fight!
Sasha Grey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dellal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
