Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Coburger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Alfredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thomas Coburger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lenny Alfredo! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coburger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Alfredo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Coburger counters by clinching up. Coburger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coburger drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alfredo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Alfredo tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Alfredo trying desperately to get to his feet.
Coburger working Alfredo over with strikes here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alfredo tries to buck Coburger off but he can't manage it. Coburger punishing his opponent with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alfredo is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Coburger takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coburger scoring with strikes but Alfredo is staying in there. Alfredo is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Coburger controlling from the full mount. Alfredo really wants to buck Coburger off and get back to his feet. Coburger controlling the pace for now. Alfredo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Coburger working the ground and pound effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alfredo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Coburger looking to control and managing it successfully. Alfredo wants to get back to his feet.

Coburger lands a couple of good shots and Alfredo has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Coburger is landing with strikes from the back. Alfredo wants to get back to his feet. Coburger is riding his opponent, not letting Alfredo buck him off. Alfredo wants to get back to his feet.

Alfredo is trying to get back to his feet but Coburger has full control of the position and if anything, Alfredo has just worked his way into a worse spot. A bit of a pause in the action here. Coburger controlling the positon. Coburger is persistently looking for the submission but Alfredo is defending it well.

Thomas Coburger dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Alfredo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Coburger seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Coburger drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Alfredo wants to get back to his feet but Coburger is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Alfredo is working an open guard so Coburger takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Coburger takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Alfredo throws a series of strikes that have Coburger backpedaling.
Alfredo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alfredo cracks Coburger with a right hand to the side of the head. Coburger is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Alfredo can do to turn this around? Coburger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alfredo was covering up waiting for the punch and Coburger finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alfredo wants to stand but Coburger is controlling the position. Coburger content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alfredo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Coburger has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Coburger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Alfredo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Alfredo lands a jab-cross combination. Alfredo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Coburger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Coburger keeps control of Alfredo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Coburger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Alfredo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Coburger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Coburger stops Alfredo from standing up. Alfredo can't keep his opponent in guard - Coburger advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alfredo tries to kick Coburger off but Coburger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Coburger with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Alfredo wants to get back to his feet. Coburger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Alfredo wants to get back to his feet. Coburger is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Alfredo defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Coburger decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Coburger takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Alfredo looks to land a combination. Coburger sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Alfredo throws a right and a left that both miss. Coburger wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Alfredo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coburger moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Coburger darts in and clinches Alfredo up against the cage. Coburger stalling.

Coburger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Coburger trying to pass the guard but Alfredo defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Lenny Alfredo will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Alfredo gets caught napping as Coburger dives in and scores a takedown. Alfredo manages to retain guard. Alfredo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Coburger is controlling him. Coburger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Coburger stays in close to Alfredo's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Coburger's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Alfredo wants to stand and escape but Coburger is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Some wild striking there from Alfredo.
Alfredo is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Alfredo tries to sprawl but Coburger drives through with a takedown into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Coburger in particular looking to stall. Alfredo is looking to escape. Coburger takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Coburger is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alfredo wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Coburger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Alfredo to the ground. Coburger is now in Alfredo's guard. Alfredo wants to stand and escape but Coburger is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coburger stands and steps away. Alfredo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Alfredo lands with a nice combination. Coburger backs away looking to recover. Alfredo misses with a wild combination.
Coburger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Coburger is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Alfredo looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alfredo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Coburger scores with a couple of nice shots. Alfredo is looking to escape. Alfredo is defending against the submission attempts here by Coburger.
Alfredo tries to kick Coburger off but Coburger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Coburger walks into a left hand. A combination from Alfredo does no damage. Coburger rushes Alfredo and presses him up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Thomas Coburger showed his dominance in that final round. I think Coburger has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
