Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keith Richards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bartosz Solomon!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solomon tries to clinch up.
Solomon catches Richards with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Richards closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Richards tries to stand but Solomon is controlling his head.
Solomon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Solomon is trying to buck Richards off.
Richards decides to take the fight back to the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Solomon enables Richards to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Solomon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Richards pushes down on Solomon's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Solomon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richards. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Solomon wants to stand back up but Richards manages to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Richards is staying tight to Solomon's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Richards in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Solomon is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
