The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slaughter swings away with a body shot that misses
and Slaughter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Slaughter gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Donk. Silva catches Slaughter right on the button with a cross.
Silva misses the jab.
Silva sets himself, and Slaughter steps forward looking for the clinch! Silva avoids it this time.

Tyron Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slaughter lands a big elbow - Silva is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Slaughter!
