Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martine Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dincht comes to the cage accompanied by Amorphis - Greed. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Pete Alexander! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dincht moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Alexander tries for a takedown but Dincht sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Alexander has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Alexander misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dincht leaves Alexander with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dincht was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Martine Dincht has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
