Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miquel Mcintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Von Heiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Heiser has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Miquel Mcintosh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miquel Mcintosh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Von Heiser! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heiser throws a combination. Mcintosh tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Heiser misses with a few strikes there.
Mcintosh half committed to a counter leg kick. Heiser misses with the combination.
Heiser misses with a two punch combination.
No luck for Mcintosh with that takedown attempt. Mcintosh takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Heiser throws a good cross that connects.
Heiser lands with a cross. Mcintosh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Heiser jabs Mcintosh to the body, keeping him at a distance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Some wild striking there from Heiser.
Heiser moves into range and clinches up with Mcintosh. Mcintosh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mcintosh drags the fight down to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcintosh wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Mcintosh manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Heiser has had enough of the clinch but Mcintosh keeps him there for the moment. Mcintosh manages to pull guard.
Heiser tries to stand but Mcintosh is controlling from the bottom. Heiser won't allow Mcintosh to sweep him here. Mcintosh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heiser looking to sit in guard and control but Mcintosh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcintosh throws a big right hand that misses. Heiser is wriggling around but Mcintosh manages to pass to half guard.
Mcintosh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Heiser tries to kick Mcintosh off but Mcintosh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcintosh takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Mcintosh throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mcintosh throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mcintosh sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Heiser defending well though. Heiser wants to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Heiser cracks a nice hook into Mcintosh's ribs. Heiser gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcintosh has Heiser pressed against the cage, preventing Heiser from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Mcintosh has Heiser pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Heiser manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miquel Mcintosh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Heiser tries to break free but Mcintosh pushes him back against the cage. Mcintosh has a closed guard, preventing Heiser from standing up. Mcintosh doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Von Heiser dominated that round. The cut man is working on Miquel Mcintosh's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Heiser has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mcintosh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Heiser pinned against the cage. Heiser gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Heiser scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Mcintosh closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heiser blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mcintosh. Mcintosh postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Heiser to stand up. Heiser lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mcintosh at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heiser looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Von Heiser seems to be getting the better of the standup. Heiser displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Mcintosh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Heiser avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miquel Mcintosh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Heiser gets tackled into the cage by Mcintosh. Mcintosh maintains the clinch. Mcintosh doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Heiser has had enough of the clinch but Mcintosh keeps him there for the moment. Mcintosh pulls guard successfully.
Mcintosh wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It's preventing any offense from Heiser, at least for the moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Heiser wants to stand and escape but instead Mcintosh has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcintosh lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mcintosh stands up from guard. Let's bang! A punch combination from Heiser misses. Heiser fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Heiser is breathing heavily. Heiser misses with a body shot.
Mcintosh just misses with a punch to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Heiser. Those never looked like landing. Mcintosh clinches with his opponent.
Mcintosh pulls guard. Heiser is fighting to break Mcintosh's control of his arms but Mcintosh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcintosh wriggles free and stands up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Miquel Mcintosh will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Miquel Mcintosh's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Heiser defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mcintosh. Mcintosh walks into a stiff left hand from Heiser. Heiser misses with a wild body shot. Heiser fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcintosh, pushing him back against the cage. Heiser blocks an elbow strike. Heiser tries to break free but Mcintosh pushes him back against the cage. Mcintosh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mcintosh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Heiser walks away with a smile on his face. Mcintosh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miquel Mcintosh. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mcintosh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mcintosh is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Heiser. Mcintosh dives in and scores a takedown into Heiser's guard. Mcintosh stops Heiser from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcintosh with a flurry of punches that miss. Heiser wants to stand but Mcintosh is controlling the position. Heiser wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mcintosh manages to pass to side control. Heiser takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mcintosh seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Heiser is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
