Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Just Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Didenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vlad Didenko will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Just Roll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Didenko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didenko needs to keep his hands up - Roll had a free shot at his head there.
Didenko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Roll leaves Didenko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Roll fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Roll misses with a lunging right hand

and Didenko counters with a shoot takedown. Roll fights it but they end up in guard.

Didenko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Just Roll will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


A looping hook to the body misses from Roll. Didenko does a little dance to reset his feet.

Didenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roll tries to avoid it but Didenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roll to the ground. Roll escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Didenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roll throws out the jab.
Didenko misses with a takedown attempt - Roll sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Didenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Roll but Roll pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Just Roll has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Didenko.
