Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stone Cold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Georlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viktor Georlev has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stone Cold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Viktor Georlev!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Georlev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cold has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cold stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Cold goes for a double leg but Georlev avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Georlev continues to drive forward.
Georlev tries to counter by closing the distance.

Cold drives through with a takedown into Georlev's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Georlev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Cold got a little sloppy there for a moment and Georlev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cold has managed to get both his arms back between Georlev's legs - danger averted.

Georlev has his foot on Cold's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cold works his way back into a safe position though.

Cold has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Georlev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cold defends it easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Cold gets to his feet - Georlev follows without any prompting.
Georlev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cold sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Georlev somewhat.

Cold shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Georlev manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Cold controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Georlev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cold can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cold decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Cold changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Georlev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cold is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Georlev is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Georlev tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stone Cold overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cold tries for a kimura but Georlev is defending well.
Cold moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Cold decides to take the fight back to the feet.

A big right from Cold misses.
Georlev throws out a counter right but Cold avoids it with no problem.

Cold feints and as Georlev raises his hands in defense, Cold changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Georlev controls Cold momentarily but Cold frees himself.
Cold wants to control from the top but Georlev keeps moving.

Georlev tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Georlev is looking for a triangle but Cold pushes his legs off easily.

Georlev throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cold escapes and throws Georlev's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Cold has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Cold shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cold was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Cold decides to stand back up.

Georlev gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cold to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Georlev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cold is aware though and is defending well.
Georlev is breathing heavily.

Georlev isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cold stacks Georlev on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cold!

Cold tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cold has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cold is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Georlev knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Georlev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cold is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Georlev will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cold shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Georlev is trying to defend but Cold finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Cold is taking a breather. Georlev says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Georlev is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cold pulls his head out easily.
Georlev takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The fighters are battling for position here. Georlev manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
