Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Pettis.
Munanaposa goes for a double leg but Pettis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pettis continues to drive forward.
Pettis throwing a counter right hand but Munanaposa manages to avoid it.
Munanaposa throws a sloppy head kick
letting Pettis counter with a right hand.
Pettis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Munanaposa drives through with a takedown into guard.
Munanaposa stops Pettis from standing up.
Munanaposa works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Munanaposa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Munanaposa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Munanaposa is working for a submission of some sort.

Munanaposa trying to control the action but Pettis is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pettis is not content to let Munanaposa control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pettis looks like he's trying to stand up.

Munanaposa looking for a submission but Pettis manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Munanaposa wants to pass the guard but Pettis is keeping the position.

Pettis wants to stand and escape but Munanaposa is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Munanaposa won't allow Pettis to get back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Munanaposa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pettis.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Munanaposa is defended easily by Pettis.
Pettis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Pettis pushes Munanaposa off and gets back to his feet.
Munanaposa misses with a takedown attempt - Pettis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jeremy Pettis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of La Tigre Munanaposa.
Munanaposa shoots in for a double leg but Pettis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pettis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Munanaposa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pettis avoids it really well and circles away.
Munanaposa is still on wobbly legs! Can Pettis finish him?
Munanaposa shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pettis counters with a huge left! Munanaposa is in big trouble! He's backing up but Pettis isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Munanaposa from any more damage. A dominating finish by Pettis!

After the fight, Jeremy Pettis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
