The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaaka throws a body punch but Tainio moves out of range.
Vaaka misses with an uppercut. Tainio saw that one coming.
Tainio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tainio has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Vaaka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tainio lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Tainio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
As Tainio looks to move away, Vaaka throws a big counter combo bu Tainio just gets out of the way.

Tainio tries to counter with a clinch but Vaaka shakes him off and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vaaka darts in and clinches Tainio up against the cage.

Vaaka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tainio takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Vaaka scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tainio shoots in but no luck this time.
Tainio gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vaaka.
Tainio takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Vaaka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Tainio gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Vaaka gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
