Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sebastian Shot! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shot lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kim backs up against the cage.
Kim takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Shot throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Shot throws a series of punches but Kim moves out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kim. Kim is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Shot drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kim defends it well. Kim shoots for a double leg takedown but Shot sprawls well. He's pushed Kim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Kim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shot lands with a slapping head kick.
Kim is rocked! Shot batters Kim with a massive right followed by a huge left! Kim is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Shot lands a final crushing right hand to drop Kim to the mat with a gruesome thud! Shot is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Sebastian Shot! An out of breath Sebastian Shot thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
