Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Tompaqo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Tompaqo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Tompaqo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tompaqo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tompaqo looking to control but instead Barron has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Tompaqo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Barron throws a strike but Tompaqo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ivan Tompaqo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Tompaqo has picked Barron up - he's going for a ride! Tompaqo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Well Tompaqo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
