Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junior Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papu Patwari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patwari looks to land a combination but Lima avoids it well.
Lima is looking to clinch but Patwari is avoiding it.

Lima closes the distance and pushes Patwari back into the cage.

Patwari pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Patwari takes the fight into the clinch.
Lima just leaning against Patwari, taking a breather.
Lima wants to take the fight to the mat but Patwari manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Lima flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Lima is refusing to be controlled, as Patwari sits in half guard.
Lima tries to roll over but Patwari keeps him under control.

Lima has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Patwari is on him like a limpet, forcing Lima back against the cage.
Lima has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Patwari after a bit of a struggle.

Patwari is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Patwari has his foot on Lima 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lima works his way back into a safe position though.

Patwari had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lima defends it easily.
Lima passes Patwari's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Lima is taking a breather. Patwari says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Lima wants to pass to mount but Patwari is defending the position.

Patwari wants to control but Lima is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lima content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Lima with the ground and pound but Patwari uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Lima gets to his feet - Patwari follows without any prompting.

Patwari closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lima is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Patwari's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

and Lima counters by moving into the clinch.

Patwari has Lima pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Patwari pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lima tumbling to the mat - Patwari dives into Lima 's guard.

Lima pushes Patwari off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Patwari darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Patwari has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lima throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Patwari tries to counter by closing the distance.

Patwari has Lima up against the cage in a clinch.

Patwari decides to pull guard.
Patwari controls Lima momentarily but Lima frees himself.
Lima really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Patwari is on top in guard.

Lima bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Patwari's guard.

Lima wants to pass the guard but Patwari is keeping the position.

A close second round but Papu Patwari will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Patwari fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lima to the ground. Patwari is now in Lima 's guard.

Lima got a little sloppy there for a moment and Patwari has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lima has managed to get both his arms back between Patwari's legs - danger averted.

Lima stands up and waves to Patwari to follow him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lima looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lima attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Lima tries for a takedown but Patwari sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Patwari's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Patwari throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Junior Lima is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lima throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Patwari escapes and throws Lima 's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Patwari follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Patwari closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Patwari seems to be looking for submissions.
Lima is controlling Patwari's trapped leg to prevent Patwari from advancing to side control.

Lima is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Patwari's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Patwari's back!
Lima doesn't have the hooks in and Patwari manages to turn into his guard.
Lima is trying to keep Patwari in close.

Lima working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Patwari doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Patwari manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Patwari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
