Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miquel Ketchum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Boom. Miquel Ketchum will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rick Ross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miquel Ketchum! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ketchum rushes Ross and presses him up against the cage. Ross prevents Ketchum from breaking the clinch. Ketchum lands a body punch. Ross wants to take the fight to the mat but Ketchum manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Ross has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ketchum avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ketchum prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Ross. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ketchum breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross gets tackled into the cage by Ketchum. Ketchum maintains the clinch. Ketchum is looking to break free of the clinch but Ross has double underhooks. Ketchum tries to circle away but Ross has him pinned against the cage. Ketchum manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ketchum tries to break the clinch but Ross is controlling the position. Ketchum breaks from the clinch.
Ketchum closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ketchum has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ross uses from the top position. Ketchum wants to stand up but Ross is controlling him. Ross controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ketchum is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ross is controlling him. Ketchum has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Ross has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Ketchum throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Ross can't get the takedown.
Ross is trying to drag Ketchum to the mat but Ketchum just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ross tries to score a body lock takedown but Ketchum shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ketchum pulls Ross into guard.
Ross sitting in guard here, content to control. Ketchum wants to stand and escape but Ross is having none of it. Ross is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ross has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Ross throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ross slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ketchum stalks Ross and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ross's face. Ross staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Rick Ross has been cut. Ketchum has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ross is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ketchum sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ketchum clinches with his opponent.
Ketchum looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ketchum drags the fight down to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miquel Ketchum dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rick Ross's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ketchum moves into range and clinches up with Ross. Ketchum wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ross feints and as Ketchum raises his hands in defense, Ross changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ross throws a big right hand that misses. Ross trying to control the position from guard on top but Ketchum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ross slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross stops Ketchum from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Ketchum wants to stand but Ross is controlling the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ross trying to control the position from guard on top but Ketchum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ketchum lands a lovely overhand right. Rick Ross is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ketchum lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ross at a distance.
Ross fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ketchum avoids it really well and circles away. Miquel Ketchum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ketchum working hard to break the clinch. Ketchum gets control of Ross's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ketchum will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ketchum wants to stand but Ross is controlling the position. Ketchum has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ketchum can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ross controls the pace. Ketchum wants to stand and escape but Ross is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ross wants to control from the top but Ketchum keeps moving. Ross looking to pass the guard. Ross slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ross tries to free his leg and advance position but Ketchum is retaining full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ross shoots in looking for a takedown but Ketchum manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ross's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Ketchum tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ross manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ketchum tries to clinch there but Ross circles away.
Ross half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Ketchum lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Ross is looking to close the distance but Ketchum sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Ross crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Ross is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
