Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Deven Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasun Wharton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Watts might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to firefly. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jasun Wharton enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jasun Wharton!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Watts is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wharton is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Wharton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Let's hope that Wharton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jasun Wharton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Watts jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wharton walks away with a smile on his face. Watts gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wharton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Watts with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

I've got Wharton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
