Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roque Barretto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Repe Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barretto comes into the arena with Last Man Standing - By 4ft Fingers blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Barretto.
Sorsa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Barretto. Barretto obviously looking to wear him down.
Repe Sorsa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sorsa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barretto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sorsa shoots in and drives through. Barretto sprawls well.

That was a close round but I would say that Roque Barretto will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Barretto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sorsa was well out of range. Poor timing from Barretto.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barretto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sorsa - the referee stops the clock and Barretto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sorsa. Barretto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Barretto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sorsa sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Barretto counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sorsa's knee momentarily.
Barretto fakes the leg kick and cracks Sorsa in the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sorsa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barretto's guard.

Barretto drops Sorsa with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Sorsa! Barretto dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
