Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dorsey Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Djunio Foreste (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Djunio Foreste is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dorsey Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Djunio Foreste!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreste fails to land with a series of punches.
Morris blocks a head kick by Foreste.
Djunio Foreste seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morris avoids the head kick by Foreste.
Foreste throws a lazy head kick

and Morris counters with a takedown into side control.

Morris is trying to ground and pound but Foreste uses the momentary lack of control by Morris to regain half guard.

Morris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Foreste moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Morris has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Foreste throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Morris drops down looking for a counter takedown but Foreste sprawls and moves away.

Morris went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Foreste misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morris tries to counter with a takedown but Foreste is quick to defend against it.

Morris keeps control of Foreste as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Morris is trying to trip Foreste. He has hold of a leg but Foreste is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Morris persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Foreste is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Morris will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Morris bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Foreste's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Morris is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Foreste takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Foreste is trying to break the clinch but Morris has him pressed against the cage.

Morris pulls guard effortlessly.
Morris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Foreste manages to get himself to full guard.
