Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Doan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maria Ozawa!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ozawa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Doan sprawls well. Doan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ozawa gets slowly back to his feet.
Doan is looking to counter the offense by Ozawa and move into the clinch.
Ozawa instigates a clinch.
Doan tries to circle away but Ozawa has him pinned against the cage.
Doan can't break the clinch.
Ozawa lands a damaging elbow.
Ozawa makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Ozawa is stalling here.
Ozawa landing knees to the body.
Ozawa content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Ozawa unloads a knee to the mid-section.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Ozawa.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ozawa prevents Doan from breaking the clinch.
Ozawa putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Doan in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Ozawa creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Doan's defenses.
It looks like Kevin Doan has been cut.
Doan jumps guard but Ozawa stands there with Doan around his waist. Doan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ozawa lands an elbow inside.
Ozawa putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Doan in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Doan is breathing heavily.
Ozawa crunches a lovely knee into Doan's ribcage.
Ozawa has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Doan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Ozawa lands a shot to the head.
Ozawa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Doan covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Doan is trying to remain composed but Ozawa is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ozawa lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Doan is taking damage to the body and head.
Ozawa lands with a hammerfist to the side of Doan's head.
Doan is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ozawa connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Doan to escape the position.
Oh Doan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Doan is covering up but some of the strikes from Ozawa are getting through and doing damage.
Ozawa is working for a rear naked choke. Doan is not defending it well and Ozawa has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Doan refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Doan's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Maria Ozawa!
Maria Ozawa seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
