The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Of Epirus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gautier swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Of Epirus does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Of Epirus goes for a takedown attempt but Gautier pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gautier comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Of Epirus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gautier - the referee stops the clock and Of Epirus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gautier. Of Epirus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Gautier lands a big head kick that sends Of Epirus tumbling to the mat! Gautier takes a step backwards and waves Of Epirus back to his feet - he wants the finish!

A head kick by Gautier - that's a beauty! Of Epirus is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Gautier can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

A relieved looking Pierre Gautier thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
