Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnathon Harrington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauk rushes Harrington and presses him up against the cage.
Sauk gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Johnathon Harrington has been cut.
Sauk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sauk throws a left and a right that both miss
and Harrington counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Harrington will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sauk is looking to improve his position.
Harrington is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sauk has managed to free his arm - good work.
Harrington stops Sauk from getting back to his feet.
Sauk manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Harrington keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Harrington wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sauk has him pressed against the cage.

Harrington shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sauk sprawls well. Sauk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harrington gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sauk wanted to stand there but Harrington had control of the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sauk might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harrington haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sauk has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Harrington uses from the top position.
