Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulo Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets caught flat footed, as Ross shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Silva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ross manages to get himself to full guard.
Ross working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Silva is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ross is defending well though. Silva let's go of the attempt for now.

Silva tries for a takedown but Ross sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ross circles away from the clinch attempt.

Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Silva sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Ross taps out!
