Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humphrey Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dropkick Murphys - Going Out In Style. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid jabs at Baker's body.
Baker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kid was well out of range. Poor timing from Baker.
Kid walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Baker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kid.
Baker throws a body shot but no joy.
Baker loads up on a big right hand but Kid slips the punch.
Baker dips to his left and cracks Kid with an uppercut!
Kid has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kid lands a nice looking kick to the body. Baker takes a step back to recover.
Good exchange - Baker coming out on top.
It looks like The Kid has been cut.
Humphrey Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kid tries to keep at a distance but Baker has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kid lands a left hand that snaps the head of Baker backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
I was talking to Baker's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kid tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Baker's elbow.

Kid tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kid misses with the head strike.
Baker lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kid is rocked!
Baker throws a big uppercut that drops Kid! More strikes from Baker and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kid lies dazed against the cage as Baker celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Humphrey Baker!
