Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane McLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Jaxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonny Jaxon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane McLain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sonny Jaxon! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by McLain there. McLain throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A swing and a miss from McLain. McLain throws an overhand right that lands on Jaxon's shoulder, as Jaxon tries to avoid the shot. McLain misses with a left hand and McLain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McLain connects with a single shot there. McLain throws a hook to the side of Jaxon's head but Jaxon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jaxon is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McLain.
It looks like Sonny Jaxon has been cut. McLain misses with a looping left. Jaxon throws out a counter right but McLain avoids it with no problem. Jaxon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McLain scores with a nice right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jaxon on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jaxon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. McLain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A little jabbing left from Jaxon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. McLain throws a hook to the side of Jaxon's head but Jaxon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jaxon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jaxon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jaxon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McLain. Jaxon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McLain to score with a decent uppercut. McLain changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jaxon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. McLain moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. McLain connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jaxon. Jaxon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McLain throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jaxon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sloppy strikes from McLain. Those never looked like landing. Jaxon wants to counter with a clinch but McLain pushes him away. McLain is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. McLain connects with a crisp jab. McLain throws out a powerful jab. Shane McLain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McLain feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jaxon sprawling to the canvas! Jaxon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McLain finish him?!
McLain lands a glancing blow to the side of Jaxon's head. Sloppy strikes from McLain. Those never looked like landing. Jaxon looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. McLain throws out a loose jab but Jaxon uses good head movement to avoid it. McLain is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. A lazy left from McLain finds it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McLain cracks Jaxon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McLain has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jaxon to stand back up! McLain definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. McLain drops Jaxon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jaxon looks back up at him and smiles so McLain waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jaxon is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! McLain swings widly with a right hand
and Jaxon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fighters circling - McLain throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McLain scores with a decent looking hook. McLain is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. McLain connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Jaxon tumbling to the canvas! McLain pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Jaxon was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Shane McLain! A relieved looking Shane McLain thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
