Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lloyd Leon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Atchley!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atchley throws a lazy head kick
and Leon counters with a nice body kick.
Atchley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Leon counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Atchley is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Leon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Atchley has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Leon is on him like a limpet, forcing Atchley back against the cage.
Leon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Atchley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Atchley.
Atchley will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Leon up against the cage.
Atchley cracks Leon with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Atchley prevents the takedown attempt.
Atchley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Atchley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Leon. That did some damage!
Atchley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leon tries to avoid it but Atchley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leon to the ground. Leon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Leon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Lloyd Leon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Atchley.
Atchley throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Lloyd Leon has been cut.
Atchley explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Atchley shoots in looking for a takedown but Leon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Atchley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Atchley fails with the takedown
and Leon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Leon keeps the fight on the outside.
Leon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Atchley pinned against the cage. Atchley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Leon sets himself, and Atchley steps forward looking for the clinch! Leon avoids it this time.
Atchley has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leon tries for a takedown. No joy.
Atchley is working Leon over against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Leon.

Leon is breathing heavily.
Nice body punch from Atchley.

Atchley works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Oh Leon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leon is working an open guard so Atchley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Atchley closes the distance looking for a takedown. Atchley picks Leon up and slams him brutally to the floor. Leon is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
