Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Segal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bornas Lopette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopette has chosen Back from the dead as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonathan Segal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bornas Lopette! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good work by Lopette as he checks the leg kick. Lopette throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Segal clinches. Segal misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lopette lands a right hand that snaps the head of Segal backwards. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lopette creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lopette doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Segal misses with a punch to the body.
Lopette misses with the head strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lopette. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lopette. Lopette blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Segal blocks a body shot from Lopette. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Segal lands a body punch in the clinch. Segal misses with a punch on the inside.

Lopette swings wildly with an uppercut but Segal uses good head movement to avoid it.

The referee calls for Segal to work.

Lopette has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Segal seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Lopette can turn it around. Lopette scores with an uppercut up the middle. Lopette throws a head punch that misses. Segal escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick by Lopette misses and Segal cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Segal throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lopette counters with a nice body kick. Lopette keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Segal ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Segal on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Segal shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A head kick misses from Lopette. Segal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Lopette throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Lopette darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Lopette keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Segal. Lopette throws a body kick that misses. Segal tries to land a front kick but Lopette steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lopette fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Segal tests Lopette's chin there with a solid looking shot. Lopette throws a wild body kick that Segal sees coming a mile off. Segal appears to be looking for a big counter. Segal dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lopette. That did some damage! A punch combination from Segal misses. Lopette wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Segal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little jabbing left from Lopette on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Lopette scores with a three punch combo!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Segal misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lopette counters with a good low kick that Segal was not able to check. Segal throws a chopping leg kick but Lopette manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Lopette throws a poor cross that misses
and Segal counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lopette thinking. Segal pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lopette is out of range and Segal settles back down. Lopette connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Segal is rocked! Lopette stuns Segal with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Oh Segal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Segal is breathing heavily. A head kick by Lopette - that's a beauty! Segal is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Lopette can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bornas Lopette! Bornas Lopette opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
