Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toni Malmi!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Malmi is looking to reverse the position.
Steak tries for a kimura but Malmi is defending well.
Malmi manages to get back to half guard.
Steak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Malmi keeps working.
Malmi wants to get back to full guard.
Steak stops Malmi from getting back to his feet.
Malmi is not content to let Steak control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Steak misses with a takedown attempt - Malmi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Steak is looking to clinch.

Nice takedown defense from Malmi. No joy for Steak on that attempt.
Malmi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Malmi works his foot free and advances to mount.
Steak avoids a series of strikes thrown by Malmi.
Malmi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Steak has worked his arm free - good work by Steak!
Malmi looks gassed!
Steak is looking for a sweep.
Steak pushes Malmi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Malmi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Malmi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Malmi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Malmi tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Malmi wants to stand but Steak has his arm trapped.

Malmi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Steak is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Malmi yanks on the arm and Steak is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Malmi.
