Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dick Wad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Milk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dick Wad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Harvey Milk! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. The fighters circling - Wad throws out the jab but it was never going to land. And Milk tries to counter it with a takedown but Wad pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wad throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Milk is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Milk defending well as Wad loads up on a big left hand. Wad throws out a loose jab but Milk uses good head movement to avoid it. Milk with the counter takedown but Wad avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Milk uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wad. Wad jabs Milk to the body, keeping him at a distance. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wad throws a sloppy head kick and Milk moves out of range easily. Milk with the counter takedown but Wad avoids it easily. Wad throws a lazy body kick and Milk counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Milk. Milk loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wad definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Milk not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Milk postures up in Wad's guard and throws a big left but Wad blocks it. Milk is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wad pulls Milk in close to prevent any damage. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wad being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Dick Wad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wad throws a shot from downtown. Milk moves away and avoids it. Milk drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wad defends it well. Wad lunges at Milk with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Milk's hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big left from Wad misses. Milk with the counter takedown but Wad avoids it easily. Milk blocks a head kick by Wad.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Milk takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Milk ducks under a wild hook from Wad. Milk feints the counter takedown. Wad jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wad catches Milk with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wad lands a nice hook to Milk's body. Milk takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Milk is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wad. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wad fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Wad connects with a single shot there. Wad fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Milk is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Dick Wad is winning the standup battle so far. Wad lands with a cross. Wad getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Wad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Milk moves away. And Milk tries to counter it with a takedown but Wad pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wad misses with a hook. Milk ducked under it nicely. Milk drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wad defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Milk tries to keep at a distance but Wad has taken the fight into the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Wad. Wad lands with a left to the head. Wad working some nice short punches in the clinch. Milk goes for a takedown attempt but Wad pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Milk has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Wad missing with a left hand there. Milk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wad. A lazy left from Wad finds it's target. A head kick misses from Wad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wad swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Milk. Wad scores with a nice strike. Wad throws a sloppy head kick so Milk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Milk controls from within his opponent's guard. Milk is looking to work some ground and pound but Wad has wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A head kick by Wad misses and Milk counters with a takedown into side control. Wad is not content to let Milk control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Milk is staying tight to Wad's torso, preventing him from escaping. Milk's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Wad on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wad tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Milk taking a break here but Wad is having none of it and regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Milk seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. My spies in Cozad The Island inform me that Milk has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Milk is continuing to stall. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wad throws out a leg kick but Milk moves out of range and Wad only half commits. Wad throws out a powerful jab. Milk has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Milk there as he acknowledges the shot. Wad with a hook.

Milk is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Nice uppercut there from Wad. A combination from Wad does no damage. Milk moves out of range of the body kick. Wad closes the distance and pushes Milk back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Milk lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wad wants to improve his position but Milk is controlling well.
Harvey Milk has got the better of the ground game so far. Milk controlling the action here. The adventures of Milk the control monster continue. Boring. Let's hope that Milk has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Harvey Milk. I think Wad has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
