The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaraki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Skrylvia looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Skrylvia throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zaraki connects with a high kick.

It looks like Chim Skrylvia has been cut.

Zaraki looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Zaraki stands and steps away. Skrylvia gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Zaraki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Skrylvia did well to prevent Zaraki getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zaraki is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Skrylvia is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A relieved looking Kenpachi Zaraki thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
