Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleah Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyrell Bowers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Caleah Jones! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bowers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Bowers dodges the punch combination from Jones.
A counter left hand to the body from Bowers misses its target. Jones throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Bowers's guard. Bowers is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Bowers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bowers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jones trying to control but Bowers is working from the bottom. Bowers pulls Jones in to control the position. Bowers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bowers wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bowers looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well. Jones tries to counter with a clinch but Bowers shakes him off and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bowers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones is trying to push Bowers away but Bowers has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bowers using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bowers has a couple of punches blocked by Jones.
Jones wants to break free but Bowers has control.
Jones gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jones trying to control from half guard but Bowers is working away. Jones thows a huge punch but Bowers dodges it nicely.
Jones is looking for a kimura but Bowers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jones to get the leverage. Bowers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bowers trying to control here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bowers is controlling Jones's position as best he can from this difficult position. Jones wants to take a breather but Bowers is having none of it. Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Bowers is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jones has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bowers defend it? Jones steps over the head and cranks it - Bowers is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jones!
