Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Drew Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salomo Koenig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salomo Koenig has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Drew Delgado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Salomo Koenig!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koenig fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Delgado, pushing him back against the cage.

Delgado looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koenig tries to work over Delgado's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Delgado throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koenig's waist but Koenig gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Delgado off to one side.

Delgado feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
