Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hernan Cambiaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tanner Rojas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hernan Cambiaso! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rojas throws a big shot that misses. And Cambiaso tries to counter it with a takedown but Rojas pushes his down on his head and steps out. Cambiaso tries to clinch but fails miserably and Rojas counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cambiaso! Rojas wants to stand but Cambiaso is controlling his arm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cambiaso is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Rojas is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Rojas has control of Cambiaso's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cambiaso regains control of the situation pretty easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cambiaso lands with a good body shot. Rojas gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cambiaso successfully pulls guard.

Cambiaso is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Rojas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rojas wants to get up but he can't break Cambiaso's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Rojas engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Cambiaso bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rojas wants to get back to his feet but Cambiaso drags him back down. Rojas can't do much from the bottom here. Rojas is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rojas is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Rojas can't do much from the bottom here. Rojas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cambiaso is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Cambiaso trying to control the position but Rojas is working away. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Rojas takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cambiaso lands a few punches from side control. Rojas is trying to control Cambiaso's posture but Cambiaso avoids it. Cambiaso wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rojas, who protects the arm well. Rojas wants to control but Cambiaso postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cambiaso is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rojas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rojas sneaks back into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tanner Rojas will probably get the nod. That's time! Rojas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Tanner Rojas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cambiaso moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Tanner Rojas has been cut. Cambiaso tries to close the distance and clinch but Rojas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rojas throws a big counter combination but Cambiaso scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Rojas misses with a hook. Cambiaso ducked under it nicely. Rojas clinches. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Cambiaso gets a trip takedown into half guard. Cambiaso working Rojas over with strikes. Rojas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rojas manages to escape and get back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cambiaso wants to clinch and Rojas counters with a big head kick but Cambiaso shrugs it off. Rojas misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rojas is trying to break the clinch but Cambiaso is controlling him. Cambiaso is trying to push Rojas away but Rojas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Cambiaso gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rojas regains guard.
Rojas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rojas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cambiaso passes Rojas's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Cambiaso stops Rojas from getting back to his feet.

Cambiaso is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Rojas still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Rojas has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Rojas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cambiaso can't do much from the bottom here. Rojas tries to stand but Cambiaso is controlling his head. Cambiaso tries to bench press Rojas off him but Rojas keeps the position. Rojas working away. Cambiaso is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Rojas is staying active.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rojas stands up. Cambiaso slips a jab and a cross from Rojas.
Rojas rushes Cambiaso and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rojas has Cambiaso pressed against the cage, preventing Cambiaso from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Cambiaso gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rojas regains guard.

Cambiaso is looking to work some ground and pound but Rojas has wrist control. Cambiaso is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rojas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rojas has escaped and now he's on top! Cambiaso is trying to keep Rojas in close.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tanner Rojas will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Tanner Rojas's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Cambiaso throws a half hearted mid kick. Cambiaso tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rojas counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cambiaso is lucky that one didn't land flush. Rojas looks to land a left hand but Cambiaso moved out of range nicely. Rojas looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rojas gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rojas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cambiaso is aware though and is defending well. Now he's in top in Rojas's guard. Cambiaso trying to move into half guard but instead Rojas has managed to sweep! Rojas has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cambiaso is proving hard to escape from. Rojas controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cambiaso is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rojas stays in close to Cambiaso's body and controls the position. Rojas decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Cambiaso closes the distance and pushes Rojas back into the cage. Rojas drags the fight down to the ground.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rojas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cambiaso postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cambiaso wants to control from the top but Rojas keeps moving. Rojas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rojas keeping moving, preventing Cambiaso from controlling successfully. Cambiaso throws an elbow that misses. Rojas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cambiaso's guard. Nice move by Rojas! Cambiaso not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rojas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cambiaso looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Cambiaso looking for a triangle here. Rojas is fighting it but it looks tight! Cambiaso pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Rojas is tapping out - this one is all over!
