The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone fails to land with a series of punches.
Colossus throws a series of punches but Malone moves out of range.
Colossus backing away here, and Malone unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Malone cracks a nice hook into Colossus's ribs.
Malone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Colossus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Malone counters with a good low kick that Colossus was not able to check.

Colossus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Malone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Colossus appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Malone shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Colossus avoids the body shot from Malone.
Colossus throws a hook to the side of Malone's head but Malone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've been informed that Malone has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Colossus tries to close the distance and clinch but Malone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Colossus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Malone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Malone dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Colossus. That did some damage!
Malone looks for the body kick but Colossus saw that one coming.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Malone.
Good standup being displayed there by Colossus as he connects with a hook.
Colossus wants to clinch up but Malone keeps it at a distance.
Jt Colossus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Colossus tries to clinch there but Malone circles away.
Colossus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Malone counters with a straight right hand.
Colossus lands a really nice looking cross but Malone seems unphased.
Malone throws a head kick but Colossus moves out of range.
Colossus loads up on a big right hand but Malone slips the punch.
Colossus scores with a sloppy right hand. Malone should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Colossus's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Colossus duly obliges.

Colossus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Malone manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Colossus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Colossus throws a series of strikes that have Malone backpedaling.
Colossus is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Malone thows a left - swing and a miss!

Colossus lands a nice looking body shot.
A slow jab from Malone misses its intended target.

Colossus looks to land a left hand but Malone moved out of range nicely.
Malone sends Colossus crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Malone is motioning to the referee to let Colossus up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Colossus is rocked!
Malone drops Colossus with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Colossus! Malone dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Tio Malone decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
