Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ksawery Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoran Markovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Ksawery Koltun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zoran Markovic! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Markovic throws a front kick aimed at Koltun's knee but Koltun avoids it well. Nice uppercut lands for Koltun. That snapped Markovic's head back.
The fighters circling - Markovic throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Koltun misses with a head kick.
An inside leg kick from Markovic misses. Good shot there by Markovic. Koltun is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Markovic's half guard. Markovic is trying to get back to full guard. Markovic trying to control here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Markovic wants to stand but Koltun is controlling his arm. Koltun is looking to regain half guard here but Markovic keeps moving and retains side control. Markovic is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Koltun's shoulder. That is not cool. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Markovic working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koltun is looking to reverse the position. The referee asks Markovic politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Markovic prefers to stall for the moment though. Koltun is looking to regain half guard here but Markovic keeps moving and retains side control. Koltun is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Markovic controlling from mount. Koltun is looking to get to half guard. Koltun is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Markovic gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Koltun looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Markovic throws a body punch but Koltun moves out of range. Koltun missing with a left hand there. Markovic was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Koltun getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Koltun lands with an overhand left. Koltun has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Markovic. Nice body punch from Koltun. Koltun moves into the clinch. A short uppercut from Markovic. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice body punch from Markovic - that landed with a thud.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Koltun creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Koltun misses with a hook from the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Markovic fails to land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ksawery Koltun will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looked like Koltun was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Markovic. Markovic throws a head kick that misses so Koltun counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Markovic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Koltun manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Still in half guard, Markovic seems content to control. Koltun is looking for a sweep. Markovic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Koltun wants to get back to full guard but Markovic has passed into side control. Koltun is trying to improve his position. Markovic tries to stand but Koltun is controlling his head. Markovic decides to stand back up. Markovic throws out a leg kick but Koltun moves out of range and Markovic only half commits. Koltun avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Markovic lands the left hand. Markovic looks to throw the jab but Koltun is out of range. Markovic throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Markovic walks into a jab. Koltun uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Markovic. Markovic fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Koltun checks it well. Markovic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Koltun stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Koltun on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Markovic scores with a leg kick.
Koltun tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Markovic only half commits to the counter leg kick. Koltun misses with a leg kick. Markovic has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A low kick from Markovic is predictable there and Koltun counters with a takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Markovic prevents Koltun from moving into mount.

Zoran Markovic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Koltun's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Markovic catches Koltun with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Markovic stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. That kick from Markovic tenderised Koltun's leg. Koltun is trying to keep his angry face on. Crunch! Markovic slams his shin into Koltun's torso. Koltun defending well as Markovic loads up on a big left hand. Markovic on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Markovic feints and then cracks Koltun's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Koltun down. Markovic tries to land a body kick and Koltun counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Koltun. Koltun lands a couple of elbows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koltun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Markovic counters with a body kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Markovic is looking to chop away at Koltun's legs. Markovic misses the shot to the body. And that's the end of the fight! Zoran Markovic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Markovic has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
