Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Kakkipylly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Keane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pikku Kakkipylly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roy Keane!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakkipylly buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Keane fails in his attempt to clinch.
Keane shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kakkipylly as he avoids it easily.
As Keane backs away, Kakkipylly returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Kakkipylly slaps away a takedown attempt from Keane, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Keane keeps the fight on the outside.

Kakkipylly has closed the distance and engaged Keane in a clinch.
Kakkipylly lands an elbow inside that Keane shrugs off.
Kakkipylly pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Keane tries for a takedown but Kakkipylly manages to get underhooks.
Pikku Kakkipylly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Keane.
Keane avoids the elbow strike from Kakkipylly, against the cage.
Kakkipylly gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Keane.
Kakkipylly comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Keane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kakkipylly walks away with a smile on his face. Keane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kakkipylly misses with a head kick.
And Keane tries to counter it with a takedown but Kakkipylly pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kakkipylly throws a sloppy head kick and Keane moves out of range easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Keane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kakkipylly tries to counter by clinching up but Keane breaks away and moves out of range.

Keane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kakkipylly is trying to defend but Keane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kakkipylly flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Keane is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kakkipylly defends it well.
Kakkipylly wants to improve his position but Keane is controlling well.

Kakkipylly works his way to full guard. Good work.
Kakkipylly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Keane manages to get himself to full guard.


Keane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kakkipylly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kakkipylly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Keane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kakkipylly pulls his head out easily.

Kakkipylly gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Keane swats away the attempt to clinch by Kakkipylly.
Keane takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Pikku Kakkipylly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kakkipylly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Keane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Keane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Keane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kakkipylly defends well and Keane ends up having to push Kakkipylly into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Keane fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Keane shoots in looking for a takedown. Kakkipylly tries to sprawl out of it but Keane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kakkipylly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kakkipylly tries to counter by clinching up but Keane breaks away and moves out of range.

Keane gets tackled into the cage by Kakkipylly. Kakkipylly maintains the clinch.

Keane takes an elbow to the temple.
Keane prevents Kakkipylly from breaking the clinch.
Keane drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kakkipylly gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kakkipylly lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Kakkipylly gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Keane.
Kakkipylly gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kakkipylly lands an elbow that stopped Keane in his tracks for a moment.
Kakkipylly comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


Keane is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roy Keane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Keane tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Roy Keane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kakkipylly throws a head kick that misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kakkipylly. Keane shrugs it off though.
Kakkipylly does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kakkipylly looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Keane goes for a double leg but Kakkipylly avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kakkipylly continues to drive forward.

Kakkipylly lands a brutal head kick. Keane looks out on his feet and Kakkipylly throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
