Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrone Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darrone Grey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hulk Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey scores with a jab. Hogan acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Grey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Grey paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hogan shoots in looking for a takedown. Grey tries to sprawl out of it but Hogan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Grey throws a big counter combination but Hogan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hogan is defended easily by Grey.
It looked like Grey was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Grey misses with a few strikes there.
Hogan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grey as he jumps to the side.
Darrone Grey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hulk Hogan.
Hogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grey darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Grey gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Grey is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Hogan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Grey pulls his leg out and moves away.
Grey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hogan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Grey to counter with a crisp jab.
Grey wants to clinch.
Hogan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Grey pinned against the cage. Grey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Grey is looking for a counter combo.

Grey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hogan tries to score a body lock takedown but Grey shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hogan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grey walks away with a smile on his face. Hogan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Darrone Grey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hogan looks winded!
Hogan fails to land the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grey closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Grey wants to clinch up but Hogan keeps it at a distance.
Hogan closes the distance and clinches up with Grey, looking for a takedown. Hogan pushes Grey against the cage but Grey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Grey closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hogan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Grey was covering up waiting for the punch and Hogan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hogan stops Grey from standing up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hogan stands up over Grey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hogan won't allow Grey to get back to his feet.
Hogan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Grey works the jab nicely.
Hogan goes for a double leg but Grey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grey continues to drive forward.
Grey throws a series of strikes that have Hogan backpedaling.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hogan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grey's waist but Grey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hogan off to one side.

Hogan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Grey was covering up waiting for the punch and Hogan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hogan is looking to pass into half guard but Grey pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Grey is in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Grey wanted to stand there but Hogan had control of the position.

Hogan working for a triangle but Grey defends it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darrone Grey dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Hogan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Grey tries to kick Hogan off but Hogan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hogan throwing shots but Grey is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hogan trying to pass the guard but Grey defending well.
Hogan misses with a head shot. Grey uses the momentum to regain guard.
Hogan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Hogan won't allow Grey to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hogan passes Grey's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Grey wants to get back to his feet.
Hogan trying to advance position but Grey counters by regaining guard.
Hogan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hogan wants to pass the guard but Grey is keeping the position.
Grey wants to stand up but Hogan is controlling him.
Grey on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Grey tries to get out of the position.
Hogan advances to half guard.
Hogan uses his free foot to push down on Grey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Grey.
Hogan landing punches.
Hogan lands a heavy elbow.
Hogan lands with some strikes.
Grey really wants to buck Hogan off and get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hogan breaks from Grey's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Hogan scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Grey?


Grey is rocked!
Oooh a big shot lands for Hogan! Grey is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hulk Hogan!
Hulk Hogan seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
