Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jupiter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uruhara Hatake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Brownstone blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jupiter Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Uruhara Hatake! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatake shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hatake throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Hatake wants to slow Jones down by chopping away at his legs. Jones lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hatake's sensitive parts. Hatake avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hatake pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jupiter Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hatake fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Hatake persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hatake throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hatake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jones holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Hatake tries to pass to full mount but Jones defends it. Hatake is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer. Jones wants to control but Hatake is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatake is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hatake landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Jones is holding on to half guard well. Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones. Jones is controlling Hatake's posture. Hatake wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hatake with a nice head shot there. Hatake wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hatake is one step ahead there. Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A bone on bone clash there as Hatake blocks the leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hatake. Jones throws a body shot but no joy. Hatake now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Jones lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hatake eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jones blocks a head kick by Hatake.
Hatake fails with the takedown and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hatake throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Hatake takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hatake throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hatake moves out of range as Jones strikes. Jupiter Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones throws a body punch but Hatake moves out of range. As Jones backs off Hatake throws a huge counter combo but Jones manages to avoid it all. Jones lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jones tries to clinch but Hatake moves out of range. Jones moves in looking to clinch but Hatake pushes him off. Hatake is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Hatake takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hatake shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hatake slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

Hatake closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hatake working hard to break the clinch. Jones blocks a body shot from Hatake. Hatake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot to the body from Hatake misses and Jones counters with a body kick that stops Hatake in his tracks momentarily. Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hatake to score with a decent uppercut. Hatake gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Uruhara Hatake is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jones thows a left - swing and a miss! Jupiter Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Hatake avoids the body shot from Jones.
Hatake throws a head kick that misses. An inside leg kick lands from Jones. A chopping leg kick lands by Hatake. Jones clobbers Hatake with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Hatake throws a poor cross that misses
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones scores with a nice strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a front kick aimed at Hatake's knee but Hatake avoids it well. Hatake looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jones scores with a jab to the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Both fighters circling a little - Jones finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Nice jab there from Jones. Jones loads up on a big right hand but Hatake slips the punch. Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hatake looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jones throws a wild body kick that Hatake sees coming a mile off. Jones lands a slapping body shot.
A punch lands to the side of Hatake 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a jab when Hatake was well out of range. Jones gets tackled into the cage by Hatake. Hatake maintains the clinch. Hatake tries to score a body lock takedown but Jones shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jones lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Jones tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A short right hand to the side of the head by Jones. Jones tries a body shot but Hatake blocks it.
Hatake pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones misses with a lunging right hand
and Hatake counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jones misses the shot to the body. Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hatake can do to turn this around? Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet. Jupiter Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Uruhara Hatake. Jones misses with an uppercut. Hatake saw that one coming. Hatake throws a counter combo. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hatake has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jones lands with a right to the head. Jones lands a body punch. Hatake takes an elbow to the forehead. Jones lands a hook to the side of the head. Hatake takes a shot to the head. Jones lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hatake. Hatake blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Hatake is rocked! Hatake is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Hatake shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jones cracks Hatake with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hatake tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jones pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hatake is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jupiter Jones! Jupiter Jones retains his bantamweight title! After winning the bout, Jupiter Jones thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
