Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Spyke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Spyke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Immortal Technique - Industrial Revolution. Matt Serra acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra shoots and misses
and Spyke counters with a straight right hand.
Serra fails to land the takedown.
Serra doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Spyke counters with a stiff right hand.
Kurt Spyke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Serra.
Horrible takedown attempt by Serra or perhaps it was just good defense by Spyke, which made it look bad.
Serra dives in for a single leg takedown but Spyke sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice sprawl there from Spyke as Serra shoots in.
Spyke cracks Serra with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Spyke misses with a body shot.
Serra moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spyke dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Serra takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Spyke cracks Serra with a good jab.
It looks like Matt Serra has been cut.

Serra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Spyke counters with a nice uppercut.
Serra looks winded!
Spyke Throws a clean left jab. Spyke Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Serra's chin! Serra crumbles to the ground and Spyke follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Spyke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kurt Spyke!
