Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Pheonix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grimbob Badface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pheonix comes to the cage accompanied by Pride (times are changing) by Madball. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Pheonix misses.
No luck for Badface with that takedown attempt.
Pheonix throws a nice inside leg kick.
Pheonix throws a head kick that misses.
Badface shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pheonix pinned against the cage. Pheonix gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Badface fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tyler Pheonix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grimbob Badface.

Pheonix changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Badface looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Badface is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Badface misses with a strike from the bottom.
Badface tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pheonix wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pheonix tries to stand but Badface is controlling his head.
Badface misses with an elbow from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Badface is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Badface's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Badface has his takedown stuffed
and Pheonix counters with a big head kick but Badface shrugs it off.
A head kick from Pheonix lands but Badface takes it in his stride.

Badface is rocked!

It looks like Grimbob Badface has been cut.

Pheonix shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Badface is unconscious as Pheonix celebrates over his stricken foe!
