Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JD Hogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyrki Kasvi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Hogg. Kasvi does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've been told by Hogg's head coaches at Team Skaggs Training Facility *LOP* that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kasvi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kasvi jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kasvi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hogg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kasvi manages to avoid it.
Kasvi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hogg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kasvi scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Jyrki Kasvi has been cut.
Hogg doesn't manage to clinch there - Kasvi circles away.
Kasvi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hogg fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kasvi thuds a left hand into Hogg's body.
Hogg walks into a stiff left hand from Kasvi.
Hogg tries to clinch but Kasvi moves out of range.
Kasvi lands with a shot to the body.
Hogg throws a jab when Kasvi was well out of range.
Hogg takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hogg throws a body punch but Kasvi moves out of range.

Kasvi drops his shoulder and cracks Hogg with a huge uppercut! Hogg goes down! Can Kasvi finish him?

Hogg is rocked!
Hogg working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kasvi.
Oh Hogg is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kasvi postures up in Hogg's guard and throws a big left but Hogg blocks it.
Kasvi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hogg seems to have got his legs back now.

Kasvi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hogg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kasvi passes Hogg's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hogg regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kasvi.
Kasvi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kasvi throws a big elbow that misses.
Kasvi postures up in Hogg's guard and throws a big left but Hogg blocks it.

Kasvi throws a big right hand that misses.

Kasvi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hogg looking to control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Hogg misses with an uppercut.
A jab from Kasvi does it's job there.
Hogg's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kasvi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hogg scrambles back to his feet.

Kasvi swats away the attempt to clinch by Hogg.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kasvi! But no joy.
Hogg misses with a wild body shot.
Kasvi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hogg misses with a looping right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hogg. Kasvi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kasvi lands a nice shot that snaps Hogg's head back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hogg throws a body shot but no joy.

Kasvi throws a lazy right hand but Hogg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kasvi lands a really nice looking cross but Hogg seems unphased.
Kasvi fakes the body blow, causing Hogg to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Hogg goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
