Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mustaffa Spliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Tarnowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarnowski is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hemp Gru - Sami swoi . Spliff has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michal Tarnowski!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spliff moves in looking to clinch but Tarnowski pushes him off.
Spliff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tarnowski paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And Tarnowski tries to counter it with a takedown but Spliff pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Tarnowski throws a leg kick which misses Spliff's front leg but catches the back leg as Spliff tries to avoid it.
Spliff takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Spliff moves out of range of the body kick.
Spliff tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tarnowski counters with a low kick, right behind Spliff 's knee.
Tarnowski stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Tarnowski keeps Spliff at a distance using the push kick.

Tarnowski connects with a solid leg kick.
Tarnowski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Spliff is rocked!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tarnowski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Spliff is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A relieved looking Michal Tarnowski thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
