Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sampo Jampo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Koistinen! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koistinen moves into the clinch. Jampo tries to throw a body punch but Koistinen avoids it by throwing Jampo back against the cage. Koistinen pushes Jampo back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Koistinen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Koistinen lands with a short shot to the head. Koistinen wants to take the fight to the mat but Jampo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Jampo misses with a body punch.

Jampo is breathing heavily. With the fighters up against the cage, Jampo throws an elbow but misses. Koistinen blocks an uppercut.

Jampo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jampo scores with a nice hook to the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Koistinen. With the fighters up against the cage, Jampo throws an elbow but misses. Koistinen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jampo regains guard immediately. Jampo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Koistinen looking to pass the guard. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Tres Puntos FC that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Koistinen trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Jampo manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Koistinen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Koistinen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Koistinen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Koistinen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jampo defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jampo is looking to control Koistinen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jampo avoid being mounted? Koistinen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jampo keeps working. Koistinen wants to pass the guard but Jampo is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Koistinen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Koistinen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Koistinen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Koistinen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jampo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jampo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Koistinen. Koistinen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jampo defends it well. Koistinen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

It looks like Sampo Jampo has been cut. Koistinen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jampo is now in Koistinen's guard. A big mistake from Koistinen there, giving up the dominant position! Jampo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Koistinen's guard. Koistinen wants to improve his position but Jampo is controlling well.

Jampo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Koistinen. Koistinen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jampo pinned against the cage. Jampo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jampo loads up on a big right hand but Koistinen slips the punch. Jampo throws a hook but Koistinen avoids it easily. Jampo misses with a body shot.

Koistinen shoots in looking for a takedown but Jampo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Koistinen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Koistinen. Sampo Jampo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juha Koistinen. Koistinen is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Koistinen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Jampo sends Koistinen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jampo is motioning to the referee to let Koistinen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Koistinen is rocked! Jampo lands a nice hook to Koistinen's body. Koistinen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. and Jampo counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Koistinen! He's just covering up as Jampo starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sampo Jampo! Sampo Jampo retains his super heavyweight title! After the fight, Sampo Jampo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
