Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Very Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Duff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duff is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ride of the valkyries. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Very Magnum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Gavin Duff! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duff fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Magnum avoids it really well and circles away. Duff throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gavin Duff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duff doesn't manage to clinch there - Magnum circles away.
Duff is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Magnum's half guard. Magnum is looking for a sweep. Duff is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duff is just content to waste time from the top position. Magnum takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Duff stands up and waves to Magnum to follow him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duff takes the fight into the clinch. Duff lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duff is thwarting Magnum's attempts to control the position. Magnum is trying to stand.
Duff is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Duff drops an elbow to the side of Magnum's head. Duff is looking for a kimura but Magnum is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Duff to get the leverage. Duff is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Magnum trying to control here.
Magnum is pressing down on Duff's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Duff throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Magnum works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Duff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magnum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Duff trying to control the position from guard on top but Magnum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Duff slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Duff postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Magnum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Duff as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duff bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Duff tries for a kimura but Magnum is defending well. Duff is looking to take a break and control but Magnum is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Duff goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Magnum rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Duff's guard! Nice work there by Magnum! Duff looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Magnum pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duff is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magnum drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Duff dives on top into guard. Duff looking to sit in guard and control but Magnum gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Duff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Magnum defends it easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Magnum throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gavin Duff dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Duff dives in and grabs Magnum's left leg, looking for a takedown. Magnum pushes down on Duff's head and hops out. As Duff tries to get set, Magnum tries to push him back and clinch up but Duff manages to avoid the attempt. Duff tries to clinch but Magnum moves out of range. Duff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Duff drops back, looking for a kneebar! Magnum looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Magnum looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Magnum!
Duff sneaks out the side door and pushes Magnum away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Duff has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Magnum tries to clinch up. Magnum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duff tries to avoid it but Magnum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duff to the ground. Duff escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Duff doesn't manage to clinch there - Magnum circles away.
Duff gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duff drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Duff gets control of Magnum's arms and successfully pulls guard. Duff will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Magnum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Duff controlling Magnum's posture. Magnum wants to control from the top but Duff keeps moving. Duff wants to stand and escape but Magnum is having none of it. Magnum is looking to work some ground and pound but Duff has wrist control. Duff keeping moving, preventing Magnum from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Duff has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Duff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Magnum as he jumps to the side. Very Magnum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gavin Duff. Duff has Magnum up against the cage in a clinch.
Duff is trying to pull guard but Magnum turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Duff is trying to trip Magnum. He has hold of a leg but Magnum is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Duff persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Duff is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Magnum is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Magnum has escaped and now he's on top!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duff can do anything to dispel that myth. Magnum trying to control but Duff is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magnum pushes down on Duff's leg and manages to get into half guard. Duff flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Duff is holding on to half guard well. Magnum wants to control but Duff is keeping him busy. Duff wants to improve his position but Magnum is controlling well.
Duff is not content to let Magnum control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Duff regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gavin Duff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Magnum's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Magnum shoots in for a takedown but Duff shows good takedown defense. Very Magnum is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Magnum will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Duff swings for the body but Magnum moves out of range.
Duff fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Magnum to the ground. Duff is now in Magnum's guard. Duff must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Magnum wants to stand and escape but Duff is having none of it. Magnum trying to keep a closed guard but Duff is proving a slippery customer.
Magnum is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Duff rolls with it to try and escape but Magnum cranks on the arm and Duff is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Very Magnum!
