Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Petrenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrenko has chosen Bro Hymm/ Pennywise as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrenko lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Ryan Hopkins has been cut.

Hopkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrenko moves away.
Oooooh!!! Petrenko has knocked Hopkins down with a huge combo! Petrenko steps away and waves a wobbly Hopkins back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and Petrenko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Petrenko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Hopkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Petrenko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hopkins is defending well for now.

Petrenko pushes Hopkins against the cage. Petrenko is working some dirty boxing. Petrenko pushes off with a quick right hook! Hopkins goes down! Hopkins tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Petrenko moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dmitry Petrenko!
A pretty intense looking Dmitry Petrenko took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
